This policy explains what personal data GLOU collects through this website, why it is collected and what rights you have.
1. Who is responsible
This website is run by Gerda Eglāja under the name GLOU.
For any question about this policy or your personal data, get in touch through the project request form on this website.
2. What data is collected
Project request form: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, and whatever you write about your project.
Estimator: your answers to the estimator questions. These are processed in your browser and only leave it if you choose to send a project request, in which case a summary of the estimate is included.
Email communication: the content of messages you send and any details you share in reply.
Technical data: standard server request data needed to deliver and secure the website, such as IP address and browser type.
3. Why it is used, and on what legal basis
To answer your enquiry and prepare an offer — on the basis of steps taken at your request prior to a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
To keep the website secure and functioning, and to prevent form abuse — on the basis of legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
For optional analytics cookies — only on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
4. Cookies
The website uses necessary cookies and local browser storage to function and to remember your language and cookie choices. Non-essential cookies are not loaded before you consent. See the Cookie Policy for details.
5. Who else processes the data
Website hosting and delivery infrastructure.
Email delivery: Resend, used to deliver project request messages to GLOU's inbox.
Email inbox: the email provider used to receive and store correspondence.
No personal data is sold, and it is not used for advertising or profiling.
6. How long it is kept
Project enquiries are kept for as long as needed to answer them and, where a project follows, for the period required by applicable accounting and contractual obligations. Enquiries that do not lead to a project are deleted when they are no longer relevant.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time.
Requests can be sent through the project request form on this website. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data State Inspectorate of Latvia (Datu valsts inspekcija).
8. Changes
This policy may be updated when the website or the way data is handled changes. The date above shows the latest version.
